ExploreABC is a new and exciting app that hosts six unique audio trails, four in Lurgan Park andtwo in Banbridges Solitude Park.
The audio trails will enable you to explore the Parks, learn moreabout the areas history and connect with nature and wildlife.Each trail follows a predetermined route, and as you walk along, listen out for facts and interestingstories or participate in a family activity.The audio trails are suitable for all ages and abilities and are especially good for those with sightTOss.The audio trails themes are:Lurgan Park audio trails: - Tree TrailNature TrailFamily Activity TrailHeritage TrailSolitude Park audio trails include:Nature TrailFamily Activity TrailAt the entrance to each Park, you will find a trailhead panel and braille and tactile map.
Study themap and orientate yourself before heading off on your walk.Plug in your headphones, turn up the volume, and as if by magic, youll hear one of ourstorytellers speak directly to you!The Council provides FREE Guided Walks for groups, families and individuals, and we areparticularly keen to hear from those with a visual impairment.
Our guides have received trainingfrom the NIB or Guide Dogs NI.
